"ID check took a little while, but it was okay"
I had to verify my ID and it did feel a bit slow, which was kind of annoying at first. But I guess that also means they’re being careful, so in a way it made me feel safer. The transfer went through fine after that, so no real complaints from me

"Pretty easy to use most days"
I’ve found the app simple to use, and sending money usually doesn’t give me any hassle. The steps are clear enough, and I like that it saves my details so I don’t have to keep entering everything. It does load a little slow sometimes, but overall it works fine for me

"Pretty good rates most of the time"
I use WorldRemit a few times a month, and it’s been solid overall. The fees are usually reasonable, and the exchange rate is normally better than what my bank gives me. Sometimes the rate shifts a little at the last minute, which is a bit annoying, but it’s still been okay for me...

"Good payout options most of the time"
I’ve usually had a easy time finding cash pickup or bank transfer options, and I like that the receipt/email confirmation comes through so I can keep track of everything. The only downside is that a couple of locations weren’t available when I needed them, which was a bit frustrating.

“They are fraudulent. They have done the same to me and have yet to deliver the funds to my account. Ten days ago I sent funds from my UK account to my US account and I have yet to receive funds. They put me through an interminable runaround while they lie about delivering the fund to my bank. My bank has run an internal investigation only to find no trace of WorldRemits claims. I would report them to the authorities in both the US and the UK.”

Why are there so many negative comments about the company? i thought of using it but i am having a second thought now,

“Don't do it, they have ALL of my money canceled my transfer without cause and is telling me I have to wait in order to get it back”

I sent money a week ago to my kenyan bank account. my status changed to paid yet the money has never reflected to my account.

“That has also happened to me in the UK to US corridor. They have an internal problem which is tantamount to fraud. You need to file a formal complaint with the regulators in your country residence.”

“WR facilitates fraud from its staff. They have yet to deliver a transfer on a UK to US corridor and it's been 10days. They have been completely fraudulent about their process and the way they dress client concerns. I would not use them unless you are Ok with inefficient and expensive transfers. Completely unreliable.”
